Public Service Announcement

This information is to inform all athletic personnel and families about volleyball game day procedures at Gilbert Christian Schools (GCS).

Any student interested in playing Winter Sports, i.e. Basketball, Soccer, Wrestling, needs to sign up on the sport specific link above. You must be logged into Google ALBERT account with your globeschools.org to access the forms. The coach will be contacting you and your parents about when practices begin. ALL athletes must have an athletic packet filled out and turned in. Athletic packet can also be picked up from Ms. Debbie in the front office or downloaded and printed from the GHS Athletics page: https://www.globeschools.org/o/ghs/page/ghs-athletics--2. Freshman and Transfer students must have a physical completed before they will be cleared for practice. ALL students must also have completed Brainbook (only once) and Opioid Education; this is a new requirement this year. Students will also need to pay their $35 athletic FEE in the bookstore BEFORE a uniform will be issued for the season. Dear GUSD Families and Friends, Last evening, the Globe Unified School District Governing Board approved the return to in-person instruction for our district beginning September 21, 2020. Their approval was for the three options (TKO- online; Hybrid- 2 days online, 2 days in-person; and In-Person - 4 days) attendance model that they had originally approved in July. The protocols including face covering requirements and other requirements for preventing COVID - 19 spread will be in place as we go back to in-person instruction.
